The VU Maloo was powered by the high output 5.7L LS1 motor, producing 255kw. It differs from the regular VU ute, in that it has a different rear bumper, and thus requires a different style of tips. Fitting a Manta Performance exhaust system to the Maloo releases untapped power, torque, and responsiveness, while also allowing the brilliant sounding V8 beneath the bonnet to really come alive! There are a number of options to suit all requirements, tastes, and budgets. A cat-back system is the ideal choice if you're after improved sound, while a full system will give the maximum increase in performance, and also improve the exhaust note, making it crisper and louder.
